How we keep it quiet, clean and easy

Arrival & Departure

Check-in is 3 PM. Check-out is 11 AM.

1. Need different hours? Ask us. We grant variances when the calendar allows — we just need to know in advance rather than find out at 7 AM.
2. Everyone on the site goes on the reservation, and so does every vehicle. Sites can't be sublet, swapped or handed off to someone else.
3. Arriving after dark? Tell us and we'll have your site ready and lit for you.
4. Leave the site as you found it — level, clean, and clear of anything that wasn't there when you pulled in.

Your Site

Seventy by thirty feet of gravel is plenty of room. The rules here are mostly about keeping it that way for the next guest.

1. Two vehicles per site overnight. Park on the gravel, never on the grass.Extra vehicles need to be arranged with us ahead of time.
2. Keep everything inside your own site — awning, chairs, mats, grill, slide-outs and all.
3. No tarps. If a rig needs covering, it needs repairing. Tarps shred in Oklahoma wind and they turn a nice row of rigs into a salvage yard.
4. Nothing stored under the rig or beneath slide-outs.It traps water, invites animals to move in, and it's how a slide-out gets damaged on retraction.
5. No clotheslines and no laundry hung on the rig, the awning or the fence.
6. No mechanical work or rig projects on site. Genuine emergencies and roadside-service calls are the exception — come find us first so we know what's happening.
7. Rigs should be road-worthy, self-contained and in reasonable repair.We're not asking for new. We are asking that it can leave under its own power and isn't leaking onto the gravel.

Rigs We Host

The short version: we're keeping this a park you'd want to pull into, and that starts with what's parked here.

1. Rigs should be fifteen years old or newer.Older rigs are welcome case by case — send us a few photos when you enquire and we'll take a look. A well-kept older coach is an easy yes.
2. Rigs must be road-worthy and self-contained, able to leave under their own power, and not leaking onto the gravel.
3. We may limit a stay to one night for a rig in poor repair. That call is the owner's alone, and it's made at the gate rather than after you're set up.
4. No tarps and no covered damage. If it needs a cover, it needs a repair.

Quiet & Speed

The quiet is the product. It's the main reason people pick this park over a lot in town, and it only works if everybody keeps their end of it.

1. Quiet hours are 8 PM Sunday through Thursday, and 10 PM Friday and Saturday, until 8 AM.
2. Quiet hours cover everything that carries — outdoor speakers, televisions, power tools, engines and raised voices. Sound travels a long way across open ground at night.
3. Outside of quiet hours, still keep it neighbourly. If it can be heard three sites over, it's too loud.
4. The speed limit is 10 MPH everywhere in the park, including the entrance and the gravel between rows. Children and dogs live here.
5. No generators. Every site has 50 amp electric included, so there's no reason to run one, and one generator undoes the quiet for the whole park.
6. Children stay supervised, particularly near the entrance road, the dog park and the chipping green.

Dogs

Dogs are genuinely welcome here — we built them a fenced park of their own. These are the rules that keep them welcome.

1. Pick up after your dog. Every time, anywhere on the property. This is the one that ends stays.
2. Leashed everywhere except inside the fenced dog park.
3. Don't leave a dog outside unattended, tied out, or alone in the rig if they bark while you're gone.
4. Continuous barking or aggressive behaviour means the dog comes inside. If it can't be settled, we'll ask you to make other arrangements.
5. In the dog park: latch the gate behind you, stay with your dog, and no food or treats inside the fence.Dogs that don't get along with other dogs are better off walked on a leash.
6. You're responsible for what your dog does, including damage to sites, hookups and other people's property.

The Chipping Green

It's a chipping green, not a driving range.

1. Chips and pitches only — no full swings, no drivers, no long irons.
2. Look before you hit, and never hit toward the sites, the road or the dog park.
3. Collect your balls when you're finished so the mower doesn't find them first.
4. Use it at your own risk, and keep an eye on children using it.

Sewer & Septic

1. Enzyme or bacteria-based treatments only. Nothing containing formaldehyde, bleach, solvents or harsh cleaners.
2. Use a sewer donut or a threaded seal at the connection. An open, unsealed pipe is an odour problem for the whole row.
3. Keep the black tank valve closed until the tank is about two-thirds full, then dump it all at once. Gray water can run.A valve left open drains the liquid and leaves the solids behind, which is how a tank clogs.
4. Never drain gray or black water onto the ground.
5. Waste and RV-safe tissue only. No wipes — flushable or otherwise — no grease, no paint, no solvents, no medication.
6. No washing rigs or vehicles on site. It's a lot of water going somewhere it shouldn't.

Trash

Out here, loose trash means raccoons, possums and coyotes — first at your site, then at everyone's.

1. Any trash kept outside must be in a container with a fitted lid. No loose bags set out overnight, ever.
2. Take household trash to the dumpster rather than letting it pile up at your site. Break boxes down.
3. Furniture, appliances, tires, batteries, propane bottles and construction debris don't go in our dumpster. Those need a proper disposal run into town.
4. Cigarette butts go in a container, never on the gravel or in the grass.

Fires & Safety

There's a shared fire pit by the well house — that's the one place fires belong.

1. Fires are permitted in the public fire pit only, by the well house. No fires, fire rings or burn barrels at individual sites.It's shared, so leave it clean and let it burn down rather than leaving it going for the next person to deal with.
2. Never leave a fire unattended, and put it out cold before you turn in.
3. Burn bans are honoured, no exceptions. Payne County issues them most summers and they apply to the fire pit too — we'll let you know when one is in effect.
4. Nothing in the fire pit but clean firewood. No trash, no pallets, no treated or painted lumber, no aerosols.
5. No fireworks anywhere on the property, at any time of year.
6. Grills and cooking equipment stay well clear of rigs, awnings and the fence line, and never go unattended while lit.
7. Dispose of ashes and coals cold, in a metal container — never in the trash or the grass.
8. Firearms are handled in accordance with Oklahoma law. No discharging anything on the property.
9. Watch the weather. Oklahoma turns quickly, especially in spring. Keep phone alerts or a weather radio on, and know the forecast before you settle in for the night.
10. A storm shelter is being built on site. Until it's finished there is no shelter here, so please arrive with your own severe weather plan.

Mail & Packages

1. We accept mail and packages for guests. Have them addressed to you at 1919 N Jardot Rd, Stillwater, OK 74075, and we'll let you know when something arrives.
2. Personal mailboxes are available for $10 a month — worth it for monthly guests and anyone getting regular deliveries.
3. Collect deliveries promptly, and let us know before you leave if something is still in transit.

Payment & Cancellations

Nothing here is unusual. It's written out so there are no surprises, on either side.

1. A credit card is required for every stay, nightly through monthly.
2. Monthly stays are billed on the first of the month and charged automatically to the card on file.Keeping that card current is the one piece of housekeeping we'll ask you for.
3. Cancel more than 24 hours ahead and you're refunded in full. Inside 24 hours, a 25% cancellation fee applies.
4. If a monthly payment is declined, here's exactly what happens, so nobody is caught out: You have 24 hours to resolve it before utilities to the site are shut off. If it still isn't resolved at 48 hours, the unit may be removed from the property at the owner's expense.
5. Late fee is $25 per day from the day payment is missed.
6. Restoring utilities after a shut-off is $50.
7. Talk to us before it gets there. A card that's about to expire, a payday that lands on the third — tell us and we'll work with you. We enforce this against people who go quiet, not people who communicate.

Maintenance & Visitors

1. Tell us about problems immediately — a leaking spigot, a warm or sparking power pedestal, a loose sewer connection, a washed-out patch of road, a gate that won't latch.Small things stay small when we hear about them the same day. Call (405) 747-6904 rather than waiting until check-out to mention it.
2. Don't attempt repairs on park equipment — pedestals, spigots, sewer risers or anything else that isn't yours. Tell us and we'll handle it.
3. Day visitors are welcome. Let us know they're coming, keep their vehicle within your two-vehicle allowance, and have them head out by quiet hours.
4. Your visitors are your responsibility, and these policies apply to them too.

The Fine Print

1. You stay at your own risk. Wickfield RV Park isn't responsible for loss, theft, injury, or damage to rigs, vehicles or belongings, including damage from weather.
2. Carry your own insurance on your rig and your vehicles.
3. These policies can change. The current version always lives on this page.
4. Not following them can end a stay without a refund. That's a last resort and it's rare — in almost every case a short conversation sorts it out, so expect us to come talk to you first.
5. We reserve the right to refuse service, and to end a stay, at our sole discretion.We don't have to give a reason. This exists for the rare case where someone makes the park worse for everybody else, and we'd rather have it and never need it.
6. Nothing in these policies overrides applicable federal, state or local law. Where something here conflicts with the law, the law governs and the rest of these policies still stand.
