A country stay, minutes from town

Two things make a park worth staying at: enough room that you aren't stacked up on your neighbour, and enough quiet that you notice it. Wickfield RV Park sits on the country side of the Stillwater city limits, and it is built for both.

We kept it small on purpose. Eleven sites means there's always room between rigs, the awning side stays open, and you're not listening to a neighbor's generator through the wall. It's a park built for people who want space — travelers passing through, contractors and travel nurses on a monthly stay, families in town for an Oklahoma State weekend, and snowbirds who'd rather not park in a lot.

Every site is a gravel pull-through measuring 70 by 30 feet, so a 45-foot coach with a toad pulls straight in, levels up, and stays hitched if you want it to. The width is the part people notice — thirty feet means the awning side stays open and you are not living in your neighbour's window.

And the utilities are on us. Water, sewer and 50 amp electric are included in every rate — nightly, weekly or monthly — so you can run both air conditioners through an Oklahoma August without watching a meter.

Amenities

The things that actually matter on a long stay — done properly.

11 Oversized Pull-Throughs

Seventy feet long and thirty feet wide, on gravel. Room for a full-length coach plus a towed vehicle, and enough width that your awning side stays open. No backing in, no three-point turns at midnight.

Full Hookups Included

Water, sewer and 50 amp electric at every site — all of it in the rate. No metered power, no utility add-ons, no surprise bill at the end of a monthly stay.

Free WiFi

Park-wide wireless internet included with every stay, nightly through monthly. No add-on fee, no daily code to re-enter.

Dog Park

A fenced on-site dog park so your dog gets off the leash and out of the rig — a rare thing to find attached to an RV park.

Chipping Green

A real chipping green on the property. Grab a wedge and a bucket of balls and kill an hour before dinner.

Quiet, Rural Setting

The quiet is a matter of arithmetic: eleven sites, thirty feet apart, on the country side of the city limits. No highway noise, no generator through the wall.

Close to OSU

Five minutes to Oklahoma State's campus and Boone Pickens Stadium, and about the same to dinner in town.

Shared Fire Pit

A communal fire pit by the well house — the one place a fire belongs here, and the place people end up on a cool evening.

Questions

Good to know

The things guests ask us most. Anything else, just call or send a note.

When do you open?

Soon — we're finishing the park now and don't have an exact date to give yet, so we can't take reservations quite yet. Send us the dates you're thinking about and you'll be the first to hear when the booking calendar opens.

What does it cost to stay?

$60 a night, $250 a week, or $500 a month — and full hookups (water, sewer, 50 amp electric) plus WiFi are included in all three. The weekly rate works out to about $36 a night and the monthly to about $17. Nightly and weekly rates vary on Oklahoma State event weekends.

What's included in the rate?

Full hookups — water, sewer and 50 amp electric — plus park-wide WiFi, the dog park and the chipping green. That's nightly, weekly or monthly alike. No metered power, no utility add-ons, so a long summer stay doesn't come with a surprise bill.

Are all the sites really pull-through?

All eleven, and each one is 70 feet long by 30 feet wide on gravel. You drive in and drive out, with room for a full-length coach plus a towed vehicle and plenty of width for the awning. If you're running something unusually long, call us and we'll confirm the fit before you book.

How far are you from OSU and Boone Pickens Stadium?

About five minutes. We're at 1919 N Jardot Rd on the edge of the Stillwater city limits — close enough that campus, the stadium and most restaurants in town are a short hop, far enough out that game-weekend traffic isn't parked outside your door.

Why do nightly and weekly rates change?

Stillwater fills up around the Oklahoma State calendar — football Saturdays, Homecoming, graduation and move-in weekends. Our standard rates are $60 a night and $250 a week; those dates are priced separately. Send us your dates and we'll quote them exactly.

What can I put down the sewer hookup?

Normal waste and enzyme- or bacteria-based tank treatments only. We run an aerobic septic system, which treats waste with live bacteria, so formaldehyde-based holding tank deodorizers, bleach and other harsh chemicals kill it and take the system down for the whole park. Check your tank treatment for the word "enzyme," "bio-active" or "septic safe" — and if you're unsure what you're carrying, ask us before you dump.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is 3 PM and check-out is 11 AM. If you're arriving after dark, give us a heads up and we'll have your site ready.

Is there an age limit on rigs?

Fifteen years or newer as a rule, but it's not a hard door. Older rigs are welcome case by case — send us a few photos when you enquire and we'll take a look. A well-kept older coach is an easy yes; what we're trying to avoid is a rig that can't leave under its own power.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 24 hours before arrival and you're refunded in full. Inside 24 hours there's a 25% cancellation fee. A credit card is required for every stay, nightly through monthly.

Can you receive mail and packages?

Yes. Have them sent to you at 1919 N Jardot Rd, Stillwater, OK 74075 and we'll let you know when something lands. Personal mailboxes are available for $10 a month, which most monthly guests end up wanting.

Can I have a fire?

In the shared fire pit by the well house, yes — that's the one spot for it. No fires, fire rings or burn barrels at individual sites, and we honour Payne County burn bans when they're in effect.

Are dogs allowed?

Absolutely — and they get their own fenced dog park on the property. We just ask that pets stay leashed elsewhere in the park and that you clean up after them.

Do you take monthly guests?

Yes — $500 a month, full hookups and WiFi included, and it's our best value. It's popular with travel nurses, contractors, students and snowbirds. With only eleven sites, monthly availability is worth asking about early.

What's the WiFi like?

Free and park-wide, included with every stay. No daily code, no per-device charge.

Arriving at the park

Please don't dump chemically treated waste

We're on an aerobic septic system — live bacteria do the treating. Formaldehyde-based holding tank deodorizers, bleach and other harsh chemicals kill those bacteria and take the whole system down, which is an expensive, smelly problem for everyone in the park.

Use enzyme- or bacteria-based tank treatments only. Look for "septic safe," "enzyme" or "bio-active" on the label, and avoid anything listing formaldehyde. If you're not sure what's in your tank, ask us before you dump — we'd much rather answer a question than fix a system.
